With the debut of the first Instagram advertisement, many questions have ensued. The tasteful Michael Kors ad wasn’t surprising but it did leave users to question the future of their feeds. Since Facebook, who went this route in 2007, bought Instagram last year, it became pretty obvious what would eventually happen.
The visually appealing ad presented November 1, 2013 has people talking. Will all future ads be required to visually integrate into our feeds? How often will these ads be popping up? Can you block advertisements from a company you don’t like?Instagram hasn’t promised anything yet, but we can expect them to learn from Facebook’s experiences thus far.
